I am not sure that this apple polishing tactic will work for everybody but it damn sure work for me. Below are the things that i always say after my boss make a bad shot.
i. it's still a good shot
ii. it's still Par-able
iii. don't worry, you always good at recovery.
iv. it's how we arrive that matter.
v. at last, you make a mistake

Globalization, a quick review
Many said that globalisation is good to all countries especially the third world and developing countries. True globalisation means that every country must have open door police and everybody which are the local or foreign companies can trade and compete on the same ground. I don't believe it. Take golf for example, it has a handicap system which allow golfer playing on a level playing field. This also mean that the handicap system give a change to a weaker player to win over a better player. Thus, similar system should be introduced for the weaker countries so they can have better chance of competition with the stronger and rich countries.
Tips on how to Golf at UPM Golf Course
Tips which all walks of golfers need to know before teeing off in UPM Golf Course:
1. Choosing the second nine (forest) to tee instead the first nine might be the best option when playing early morning. The sun always shine more on this side which might disturb your concentration especially during putting. Moreover, the greens usually slower in the morning.
2. The ball roll more on the first nine's green. So, if you want to hit your shot from about 100 metres or more to the greens, it's better for you to make sure the ball land before the green and hope it bounce toward the green. If it is not, you still can chip or putt to save par or whatsoever. If you hit straight to the green, 90% of the balls which land will roll and and fall. It is quite difficult to chip in from under the elevated green.
3. Normal sand shot may not work in UPM. Chipping or simple pitch is the best option to escape the bunker. One of my friend even use a his putter to escape the bunker and suprisingly it works.
Remember these tips when you play at UPM golf course. Good luck.

My First Birdie
Last Saturday at Bangi Golf. I got my first birdie. Par 5 hole no. 9. I Chipped from the apron and the ball rolled straight into the hole. About 20 feet in length. What a wonderful feeling. I can't imagine what an eagle to feel like.
I manage not to loose any ball this time. I used Precepts EV ball actually. I keep the ball in my room. So, everytime i look at it, i hope it will motivate me to practice more.
